Our Team

Below you’ll find a quick guide to who we are. Not everyone working for Mechanical Refrigeration is listed below, but here are a few names and descriptions of the people you’ll get to know first.

Jon Childs-President

Jon started the company himself in 2003. He brings more than 35 years of experience with him everywhere he goes. Jon is the President of the company and is also our lead technician. He is HVAC universal certified by the EPA, 40 Hazwoper trained, a certified welder and holds a C-34 contractors license. Jon takes pride in his work and the work of his employees, in providing his customers with excellent service and in ensuring that his customers are treated fairly in all respects.

Greg Miser-Technician

Greg began working for us in 2013 and takes care of many of our customers himself. He is HVAC universal certified by the EPA and 40hr Hazwoper trained. Greg is our main field service technician. When you decide on using MechRef for your refrigeration service, you’ll see him the most.

Courtney Childs-Office Manager

Courtney takes care of invoicing and estimates. She also provides Hazmat Compliance services, CARB compliance services and other compliance-based services to help you pass any inspection.
